Studio Sessions
Jazz Angels Autumn 2026 Session
Our studio sessions are all small ensembles, with no more than 10 musicians per band.
Over the years we have found that classes of no more than 10 students allows the teachers the space and time to ensure that everyone in the class gets the individual attention that each student needs & deserves.
All students will receive sheet music for their chosen instrument(s).
Students will be responsible to purchase a 3-ring binder to keep all their sheet music in one place, allowing them to take their music home and practice throughout the week in between practice sessions.
There will be at least two live performances for each class, each semester.
All musicians know that practice is key, but the most rewarding experience is to play for a live audience! We have a variety of different locations that we have partnerships with who allow us to come share our music with the local community of Long Beach & Los Angeles. We promise you that these performances will be the highlight of the students’ semester!

Classes help fulfill VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) National Standards for Music Education for California.
Jazz Angels also has a mentorship program for experienced musicians.
