Volunteer
Keep the Jazz community strong!!
Are you an accomplished jazz musician who is looking for ways to share your knowledge and skills with the youth? Maybe you just love jazz music and would like to help out the local community. Either way Jazz Angels is always looking for new volunteers to help our organization enrich the community. We have a number of ways that we use volunteers in our programs from helping teach studio sessions to working one-on-one with with the students as a student mentor, all the way to helping . Please reach out to our team today to begin the discussion of how you would like to be involved as well as explain your musical background.
In-Studio Volunteer
Over the years the strength of the Jazz Angels program has been largely impacted by the amazing volunteers in and around Long Beach and Orange County. We have a number of different ways for people to get involved with helping our organization grow and thrive. We are always looking for talented jazz musicians who hear the calling to pass down their knowledge and love of jazz music to the next generation.
We also have a numuber of ways that non-musicians can also get involved helping out so please do not hesitate to reach out and ask how you could help, even if you don’t play an instrument!
Student Mentor Volunteer
Our student mentor volunteer program is a new exciting way for mentors to get involved outside of our studio space. Through an application program a select number of students can apply to have a personal mentor. We will match up our mentors with students who play the same instrument. This program can greatly impact students with one-on-one guidance. We are working on a virtual program for this as well so stay tuned!
